Dashain and Yom Kippur

Vijaya Dashami and Yom Kippur fell on the same day this year. As I have nothing to atone for, I celebrated Dashain. I chased some seagulls by the beach...

...and climbed in a tree while Mommy and Daddy played cards with

their friends. I also made friends with some nice teenage girls, but Mommy wouldn't let Daddy take their picture, so I don't have anything to show for that.

Mommy made Daddy a cake and some pancakes for his birthday. When they weren't looking, I added my own gift for Daddy to his plate. (In case you're wondering, that's a sock.)

My story for today

I saw a giant diving fish at sea world and I was scared.

My 2nd walking day. I did lots of walking practice all morning. It was so exiciting that I didn't even want to change my clothes.

I surprise my parents everyday

I learned to brush my teeth and I like to brush all day. Daddy tries to take the brush away after a few minutes but I don't let him!

I want to turn on the tv...How do I do it? First, I press a button on the tv. Now the tv is on but the screen is all blue. Oh, I remember Daddy pressing another button on other machine on top of the tv. I'll press that, too...there you go! Now it works. Daddy was really surprised when he saw me do this.

No no I am not going to have a brother or sister. Its the me there. Daddy wanted to remind himself that time flew so quick. I was there and now I am almost a year old little monster.
